Legal notes

The terms on which guests may enter the house and use this website, set out as plainly as the subject allows.

Terms

Terms of entry and of use

Age limit

Admission to the house is limited to persons aged 18 and over, in the dining room and the casino room alike. The house may ask any guest for photographic identification at any time, and may refuse admission to anyone who cannot provide it. Parental consent and the presence of an accompanying adult make no difference.

Liability

The house takes reasonable care for the safety of guests and their property but cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage that is not caused by its negligence, including property left unattended. Nothing in these notes excludes any right that Australian consumer law gives to a guest and that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Rights in the text and pictures

The wording, photographs and layout of this website are the property of the operator of the venue, or are reproduced with its consent. Guests are free to read them and to pass on a link to any page, but the material may not be republished elsewhere or put to commercial use without written permission.

Reservations

A reservation is a request that becomes binding on the house only when the house has confirmed it. A confirmed table is held for fifteen minutes after the time agreed. No charge applies to a reservation or to its cancellation, and guests are asked to tell us promptly if their plans change.

Chips have no value

All play at the house uses chips that have no cash value. They are house property, may not be bought, sold, exchanged or removed, and are returned when the guest leaves the table. No wager is made, no prize is given and no winnings are paid, in any game or tournament.

The house is offline

Every game, tournament and event takes place in person at the house. No game is offered over the internet, through an application or on this website, and no account, registration or payment is required to visit. The website exists only to describe the house and to take reservations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Australian law. The courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any right a guest may have to bring a claim elsewhere under consumer legislation.

Using this website

This website describes the house and takes reservation requests. It does not offer games, accounts, payments or any other service. Information on it is given in good faith, and while we try to keep it accurate, hours, menus and the weekly program may change at short notice. If the website and a telephone call disagree, the call is correct.
